Welcome to The Black Bear, a beautiful medieval building right next to St Alkmund's Church in the heart of Whitchurch. We've got good honest food and drink, including decent wines that we blend and import ourselves and a beer that we brew ourselves, too. We've also got a lovely courtyard garden which is very popular. Christmas Quiz and Jumper Competition
Monday 4th December, 7pm start
£5 per person entry with all proceeds donated to Lymphoma Action.
6 people per team maximum, 2 people minimum.
Come and join us for our very first Christmas quiz, hosted by our very own Emily! Several rounds with all the Christmas spirit you need. Join in the Christmas jumper competition, with prizes for best-dressed and funniest-dressed teams.
 

New Year's Eve
This year we're brining in the New Year with one of our very own singing in the bar!
Poppy Hall is a local artist with a phenomenal voice, who just so happens to work here too. 
We'll have a delicious array of New Year treats on the menu along with our pub classics.
