Bookings and Payments
Bookings:
Please book either through the online booking system or feel free to use the phone; sorry, but we can’t accept bookings by email or social media. Our policy is not to book out all tables just in case you don’t book in advance.
Payments:
We take debit and credit cards. Contactless and Apple Pay are available. Sorry, but we can’t take Diners cards.
Parking and Accessibility
We have no car park at the pub but there is plenty of free and paid parking close by.
We don't have as much wheelchair friendly access as we'd like because this is an original medieval townhouse. However, we do have step free access to the rear of the pub but you'll have to call us so we can open the garden gate for you. The ground floor is level. Sadly we don't have a disabled loo.
Email Newsletters
You can sign up to receive our email newsletters, and those from our sister pubs should you desire, HERE. There is no set schedule for them so you'll hear from us a little more often when there's more going on. We will never bombard you and you can opt out at any time.
Smoking
As per the law, smoking is forbidden inside the pub and we have extended this policy to include a ban on e-cigarettes within the building. There is however an extensive outside terrace where smoking is permitted. We request that smokers always respect the space of other customers and don’t cluster around the entrances. Thank you for your co-operation.
Free Wifi
Should you feel the need to use it, but try not to do too much work, this is a pub after all.

Children and Dogs
Well behaved children are welcome in the dining areas of the pub during the day, however, after 7pm we request that all children inside the pub are over 10 years of age. We do not have a children’s menu but smaller portions from the menu are available. We don't have high chairs, baby change facilities and we can't allow prams due to the size of the pub.
We are dog friendly in the bar area but they must be on a lead and under control at all times, upon booking please make us aware if you are planning to bring a dog.
